Leaf Bracket (OMN: No. 400)
A
long with Cactus, Leaf Bracket was the most important line when it came to Greentown's Chocolate glass. Correspondence from Jacob Rosenthal indicates a Leaf Bracket Celery was the first Chocolate item produced in November 1900. The Leaf Bracket line is the best known and most abundantly produced in Chocolate because it was designed especially for the Chocolate Glass. Other than Chocolate, Leaf Bracket can be found in Crystal and a few pieces can be found in Opaque White. Although Nile Green fragments have been found in Leaf Bracket, no piece has ever been found, and only 1 item (a Cobalt Blue Butter Dish) has ever been found in an transparent color.
